Airflow Control Valves
With accurate linear airflow measurement built in, and a linear response control damper, AccuValves are easy to set up and control with high precision. The damper blades will maintain airflow setpoint based on the airflow reading for pressure independent control, and a true airflow measurement output to BMS.
These valves require no minimum static pressure to operate, and create minimal pressure drop for extreme fan energy savings over older technology venturi valves. Mounting and orienting these valves is flexible and can be based on site conditions, there’s no minimum straight run required, and they can be oriented in any angle of duct.
An additional benefit is the internal bluff body in each valve is shaped like a silencer, so they will reduce noise in the room instead of creating more, which is especially important for teaching labs.
